Training

Two years, every Saturday morning.

Fit für die Sek offers a two-year training programme for children who could be getting better marks at school and are willing to take part regularly for two years.

What happens in training

Training takes place every Saturday morning for two years at the Kügeliloo, Blumenfeld, Hürstholz, Isengrind and Luchswiesen school buildings. Alongside deepening German and mathematics, the children learn learning strategies.

The right working and learning techniques help reduce pressure to perform and focus on what matters. Children experience success and grow in self-confidence.

A key part of the training is individual learning, which supports pupils with their homework and test preparation.

Culture & outings

Learning beyond the classroom

The Fit für die Sek concept clearly differs from conventional lessons. In addition to subject teaching, regular out-of-school activities help the children learn in a playful way and broaden their general knowledge.

Whether at the Technorama, the zoo, a radio studio, a bakery or on stage – every outing is a chance to learn.
